I-pods can be used in the classroom to create pod cast. In which the teacher will record the the lecture on to his or her I-pod making it available for students to upload it onto their computers at home with out even coming into the classroom. Which is a great idea when students are at home sick. This is great way of avoiding having to send homework home.

Apple says that institutions can support pod casting across there campus with a Apple Podcasting Server.Teachers can publish their podcast files as an attachments to a web Blog, much like attaching a file to an email message (Apple web).
